Coach Mirabel is the Head Basketball Coach at St. Peter’s Prep High School in Jersey City, NJ and Coach for the Dominican National Team. He has Coached Mark Armstrong St. Peter’s Prep leading scorer and current member of the Villanova basketball team and many Dominican players such as Joel Soriano (St. Johns), Reggie Louis (St. Johns), Lester Quiñones (Warriors), Justin Minaya (Portland), Chris Duarte (Sacramento), Rafael Castro, Jean Montero (Europe).

Coach Mirabel has been named Hudson County Coach of the year seven times by different media outlets. He has great knowledge of the game of basketball and most importantly is a mentor to many players off the basketball court.

He currently teaches in a self-contained classroom in Jersey City. He graduated from NJCU with a bachelors degree in History and has a Master degree from Grand Canyon University on Special Education. Coach Mirabel lives in Jersey City, NJ with his wife, three daughters and son.
